On the buy side, pilot program participants include Lucent (and who else), with Vishay and Cypress Semiconductor participating on the sell side.

Numeta OpenPart Seller offers a tailored workflow application that speeds and improves product introduction and change processes. The product automatically creates the XML-based content for content syndication or catalog publication, as well as datasheets formatted to the suppliers' specifications. Numeta OpenPart Buyer improves component selection and accelerates product lifecycles with automated part number/descriptions, Authorized Manufacturer List management, and enhanced sourcing and selection processes. The products are currently in a pilot phase, and will be released in production in 2001.
